Introducing the Solar Trek!

The Solar Trek is a 2,000-mile-long endurance trip across the United States of America beginning May 12th, 2026. From Troy, Michigan, to Los Angeles, California, with stops at sponsor headquarters, other solar car team workspaces, and a science center, the University of Michigan Solar Car Team will test innovations and engage communities as we prepare to build our next vehicle for the 2027 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.
