Our Legacy

34 Years of History

Our team is an entirely student-run organization that designs, builds, and races world-class solar vehicles. We compete on the National and International level, and we have built 17 vehicles since our establishment in 1989.

We have 9 American Solar Challenge championship titles and 7 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge podium finishes. In 2015, we won our first international championship at the Abu Dhabi Solar Challenge. In 2023, we finished 4th at the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.
